Welcome to Beaconsfield Kinder

Growing and learning together

At Beaconsfield Kindergarten, we create an enriching learning environment across two campuses where children can thrive throughout their kinder journey. Our play-based educational programs are tailored to the unique ideas, interests, and needs of each child, maximising opportunities for holistic learning and development, enabling them to flourish.

Wominjeka Artwork

This artwork represents welcoming the children, families and staff to Beaconsfield Kindergarten, and the children’s learning, development and growth throughout their journey at kindergarten.

The artwork encompasses the core values of our service philosophy. It represents the journey or travel to Beaconsfield Kindergarten and the connection/relationship to the environment upon which the kindergarten is located, understanding the waterways and the earth which help us grow. The combination of symbols at the bottom left of the artwork represents meeting place/home/community as well as belonging, inclusion, growth, strength, knowledge, learning and play. The gum leaves welcome everyone to Beaconsfield Kindergarten and pay homage to the Bunurong People of the land.

Our Kinder Programs

Tailored developmental learning curriculums for young learners.

3-Year-Old Kinder

Our 3-year-old program features flexible timetables run over two days, using a gentle orientation and staggered start in Term 1 to help children smoothly transition.

Through secure, play-based learning, our educators nurture independence, social confidence, and cognitive skills—giving your child the perfect foundation to discover, grow, and transition into 4-year-old kinder.

4-Year-Old Kinder

At our Year Two campus we offer a rotational model, complemented by a collaborative team-teaching approach. Learners will attend in small, consistent groups on regular days, fostering familiarity and friendship while also providing opportunities for varied social experiences.

Each room will have two Early Childhood Teachers working together to plan and develop the curriculum across the week, with one ECT present each day to deliver the program. This model allows for thoughtful, responsive teaching while maintaining continuity and a strong sense of belonging for each learner.

Bush Kinder

Bush kinder programs are educational sessions for children that take place outdoors in nature allowing children to engage in a variety of activities that are typically not available in a traditional kindergarten setting.

Bush Kinder offers a wide range of benefits that support learners’ physical, emotional, social, and cognitive development. Time in nature encourages active play, builds resilience, confidence, and independence, and promotes creativity and problem-solving. It also fosters social skills as learners collaborate and negotiate with peers in shared outdoor experiences. Most importantly, it nurtures a deep connection with the natural world, encouraging lifelong respect and care for the environment.

Our Public Commitment to Child Safety

We are committed to providing a safe, inclusive and culturally respectful environment where all children feel safe, valued, heard and empowered.

We recognise the rights of all children and place their safety, wellbeing and best interests at the centre of everything we do. We are committed to ensuring Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children feel safe, respected and connected to their culture, families and communities. We have zero tolerance for racism, discrimination, abuse and any behaviour that compromises the safety or wellbeing of children.
