Beaconsfield Kindergarten is not zoned and we welcome enrolments from families from all local suburbs across the Cardinia and Casey shire councils. For more information regarding our enrolment policy, please refer to the Cardinia Shire Council's Central Enrolment Policy.
How to enrol in 4-year-old and 3-year-old kinder
All 4-year-old and 3-year-old kinder enrolments are processed through Cardinia Shire Council's online Central Registration Portal.
Initial options for enrolment include selecting which centre location you prefer, Woods Street or O'Neil Road.
From May in the year prior to attendance, families will be contacted by Council and given the opportunity to put in their preferences for particular days, timetables, and programs, including Bush Kinder. Registrations must be submitted by 30 June of the year prior to attendance in order to be included in first round offers.
If you have any questions about the online system, please contact the Council at email@example.com or on 1300 787 624.
How to enrol in the Kinder Readiness Program
From 2022 our Kinder Readiness Program will no longer run. Instead we will be offering both 3-year-old and 4-year-old kindergarten groups at both O'Neil Rd and Woods St services.
Enrolments are taken from birth until 30 June the year prior to attending kindergarten.
First round offers for 4-year-old kindergarten start in early August the year before your child's year of attendance. First round offers for 3-year-old kindergarten start early September the year before your child's year of attendance.
As positions are accepted and declined, new offers will be made via second and subsequent rounds. This process will continue until all children have been given the opportunity to attend a community kindergarten program. There is no guarantee that you will be offered your first preference but every effort is made to accommodate families and requests.
2022 fees have been set at $390 per term all-inclusive for 4-year-old, and $130 per term all-inclusive for Bilby & Echidna Groups and $156 per term for Joey Group. A 5% discount is available for fees paid for the full year in advance. Alternatively, fees are invoiced during the first week of each term on a 14-day account. Fee relief is available to holders of healthcare and pension cards.
These fees are used to cover the gap between government funding and the costs of managing and running the centre. Beaconsfield Kindergarten makes every effort to keep our fees as low as possible, to ensure our programs are as accessible as possible.
We have partnered with eduthreads, an online uniform supply company, to offer a range of Beaconsfield Kindergarten uniform items for you to purchase for your children. These items come in a range of fun and bright colours and include jackets, windcheaters, t-shirts and hats. Purchases can be made at any time during the year, and orders will be delivered straight to your home. To order uniform items, please go to the eduthreads website.
